Like many people early in their careers, Terry made the same mistakes when it came to long-term retirement savings. It wasn’t until he began working for one of Europe’s largest long-term savings and retirement businesses, that he realised the importance of starting early when trying to build an asset for the future.

As a fund analyst, he has a unique perspective on how an individual’s retirement outcome is shaped by the assets that grow their pension and he is obsessive enough about finance to have become a CFA Charterholder, completing the industry gold-standard exams for effective and ethical investment management practices.

Terry recognises the urgent need for a paradigm shift in how people approach long-term savings for retirement. Currently, many individuals are not saving enough for their retirement, and the onus of this reality is increasingly placed on the individual, many of whom are financially unsavvy.
